Through your mouse, you control the actions of either Alberto or Penny, whom you choose at the start your game. You note down your customer's' needs at the Order Station, fill their chosen cup size at the Build Station Mix it all together with the Mix Station and then finish your game at the Top Station. When you've completed the order You wait with bated breath to see how many points you've earned. An improved score can provide you with better advice from the client on that day as well as in future visits.

Although the Order Station is just as it's always been, this time around, the Build Station is where Flipline has added a different twist. Instead of just clicking the essential ingredients to make your sundaerecipe, each element of it (the mix-in, ice cream and syrup) must be accessed via an exact 'Pour' number. The indicator will move back and forth across the length of a meter, and you only have the chance to get it to stop in the green portion. In doing so, you'll earn additional tips and ensures a higher percentage in that section, otherwise, you'll get the lower score. The quicker you stop the indicator turning green, the greater the reward but if this makes you get nervous, hold off for a couple of cycles back and forth until it begins to slow down. It's a mix station that works similarly Mix Station functions much like the previous games' Grill Stations, involving keeping track of the time the sundae stays in the blender, as well as the Top Station takes from Papa's Taco Mia, having you wiggle your mouse back and again to pour in the desired toppings. The Doorbell and Alarms are back to ensure that you are watching the various stations. The newest additions to this game is the Blender Boosters which allow you to enhance the time spent working at the Mix Station (be sure not to increase the speed to the red, otherwise you'll risk breaking the blender for the day) and the Auto Ice Cream, which is a master at executing the first timed pour, providing you with the best tip.

The need to be very strict in the way food is made, Flipline Studios has added the feature of creativity with Papa's Freezeria. All the cool posters and accessories that you're used in purchasing to upgrade your shop and help your score are now configurable in the shop to your own preference! That's right. If you're trying to sell your wall to the highest bidderin the market, decorate it with ads for Kahuna's Surf Shack and the cruise ship S.S. Louis. Want floor-to-ceiling windows and the floor covered in pinball machines? It's a good idea, right? If Papa's not thrilled with it and he's not happy, he shouldn't just left you on your own.

Review: Being a big fan of time management games generally as well as the Papa's series in particular I was ecstatic by this new addition. As with all of the previous entries, the cartoon characters lend a delightful character (my favourite being Captain Cory who is the rough, female, tattooed sailors) and regardless of how demanding a client might be, I enjoy playing them.

I think that the latest features included in Freezeria make it easy to convince players to play while the gameplay keeps you engaged. Though I felt that it started out too slowly, and I was bored for the first week, it soon began to pick up speed and eventually became a more comfortable challenge where I was able establish an ebb and flow to keep my scores up. While all the decorative improvements are beneficial, the ones you can buy behind the counter are imperative! Just at the right time to beat the summer heat relax, grab a cold one (sundae it is) and spend a couple of minutes at Papa's papas freezeria.
